How do i get more traffic?
Webmasters all over the world are constantly trying to figure this one out.
Now, i can assure you there is no hidden secret. Getting traffic doesn’t come overnight, and unless your site is named myspace or youtube, it acquires some work.
So I decided to dedicate a special category to it and will post here regularly about different traffic sources.
If you now how to use google image will bring traffic to your site or blog and even improve your search rankings.
So here’s how:
We are going to take as example the keyword ‘Internet Marketing’.
Let’s go to Google Images and do a search for it.
At this writing this image is ranked nr 1 for Internet Marketing.

So do not comy the image , just copy the image url and insert the url (and image) to your site/blog.
That’s it.
Next time someone is searching for internet marketing this site will be listed now in the Google results.
This may sound a little strange since you are using another sites url, but if you have linked to the ‘internet marketing’ image you will receive traffic and it will affect your search rankings.
However keep in mind that this will work best when the image and subject of your site/blog are related. For example if the image is of Paris Hilton, you’ll get a longer stay at your site/blog if you are also writing about her.
Important: take into consideration the copyright laws when using pictures and images. As stated in Google, images may be the subject of copyright.
To your succes and traffic,

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a technique to improve the frequency of visits to a particular web site. Various content providers and webmaster pioneered the concept of SEO. Search engine optimization ranks various sites pondering the rate of visits, contents, coding and construction of the site. Highly ranked sites receive more visitor than the lower ranking ones. Another expansion of SEO is regarded as Search Engine Optimizers. These optimizers work extensively on the web site building, designing or on the source code of the site to make it “Search Engine Friendly”. Web site optimization was first initiated in the middle of 1990. The users rely extensively on the SEO to get a relevant search result. Using SEO the browsers quickly find out what they want on the internet. SEO often involves unique attributes to make a web site susceptible to the surfers simply by complementing special stuff.
However, mere SEO recommendation alone cannot increase sales. A marketing strategy is very important to yield optimum result from the SEO. In addition to this, other relevant marketing mechanism must be tried for product selling. Web site owner regard the ranking hierarchy profoundly. This realization paved the way for both white hat and black hat SEO application.
There are two major types of techniques to put SEO into work. They are named as Black hat and White hat techniques. One stands as a disapproving standard set by most search engines and the other holds the position of being recommended by all parties involved in the search optimization. White hats churn out sustainable results and black hats await shut down once the forgery comes to light. The white hat technique always follows by the book rules and never breaches them. It never resorts to deceptiveness. White hat aggregates contents for the web users to make sites welcoming. White hat SEO has some sort of permanency, since it provides authentic results. Black hat SEO struggles to upgrade its failing rank. But while doing so, it takes up tactics that are not accepted by general search engines by aligning with sham. Black hat uses hidden, invisible texts to deceit visitors and often by cloaking. Sites that indulge into black head techniques face reprimand when their ill doings are unearthed. Search Engines simply cut down their rankings or delete entry from the database. Both manual site reviews and automatic search algorithm find out this fraudulence and act according to the set guidelines.
The search engine market is very competitive. In the year 2003, Google stood for almost 75 percent of the global world wide searches. Google has even a bigger market out side the United States of America. In 2006, Google’s US share constituted almost 40 percent of the total market. While in Germany, its market was something in between 85 and 90 percent. The United States has hundreds of SEO companies but in Germany there are only 5 such company available. The remuneration for the inclusion of a site in the database of the search engines is often determined on the basis of a specific fee or on per click rate. Some leading engines rely on “editorial reviews” as a major condition for a site’s inclusion along with a set fee. Effective search optimization in the international market depends on accurate translation of the pages, web hosting with local IP address and standard level of domain registration. A market irony reveals that these days search engines generate less traffic of visitors than links with external web sites. SEO alone cannot ensure inbound traffic, since it does not guarantee unrelenting recommendation. Nonetheless, SEO policy can be used for web site development and designing.

The internet is the information highway, this phrase has been used so may time it should be nominated for the Internet Cliché Award. People that go to the internet are subdivided into groups, but generally, they are out to search information. Whether for gaming, business, fun or anything else the internet has provided us with information that has proved to be very beneficial.
Through the recent years many people have learned the secrets of Search Engine Optimization. More and more sites have seen the effects articles have done for the traffic of their sites. Some have even created sites devoted entirely to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that could lead to many sites that are related to the topics and subjects of the articles.
For example, the sites may feature many articles about a whole lot of topics. As a website visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can find at the end of the article a resource box that can be clicked on to link them to the site that has submitted the article. Of course the article would be in relation to the site. Lets say if the article is about rotating the tires, the resource box may lead to a link to a site that sells tires or car parts.
A resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article. They will contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a link. If a reader likes what they read, they would have the tendency to find out where the article came from to read more. The resource bow will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.
But like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the resource bow encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site.
Now we know what resource boxes are, what are the benefits of having a good resource box? Mainly its driving traffic to your site. Many sites would allow articles to be placed in their sites because they can make use of the articles to fill their pages. They also get affiliation with other sites that can be beneficial for them as well. For the sponsoring site, when you get people to click on your resource box, you generate traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers.
So what would be a good content for your resource box? Basically it is keywords, learning about the proper keywords that people are mainly searching for. There are many tools you can find in the internet that can help you in determining what keywords to use.
Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity it can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so you better make the most of it. Try to catch the attention of your reader with resource box content that can make them give a second look. Unlike TV ads, you don’t have visual aids to drive your point in. But you do have the power of imagination of a reader. With the right content, you can make them think and intrigued.
Another tip is to use keywords that should be related to your site. Do not mislead your potential website visitors. Build your credibility so that more people would get enticed to visit your site and browse what you have to offer. Make the people click your resource box by providing resource box content that makes a lasting impression. You only get one chance to wow them and hundreds of chances to repulse them.
Never underestimate the power of the resource box. It may be small in size but they will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer, too much to ask for something that couldn’t fit a paragraph? Yes and no, there are many tips and guides that can help you in doing this, the first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills back.
With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is why article writing, submissions and publications are also getting popular.
There are already many tools that people can use to make the process of distributing their articles more easily. Though this is invaluable in getting the contents more exposure, which is only half of the story.
Let us take a look first at the common mistakes that some people make before submitting their contents to article directories:
1. Confusing the reason to promote the articles with the reason to write them.
In article writing, there are three key benefits why you are promoting them; branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts.
But there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them.
You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better contents.
2. Failing to maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing.
You may know already that your articles can help you generate additional links back to your site. But do you know that you can get more visitors and better search engine results from that same articles?
Mention keywords at strategic places. Just be sure not to overdo them. Some are even using anchor texts which is also an effective method. But it is important to know that majority of the directories are not able to support this.
Remember that is not only about the links back to your site. Part of doing well in your article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with a large number of audiences and gaining the ability of leveraging other brands because of the quality of your work. Better search engine results also are great benefits.
But these things do not put much money in your pocket. There are other factors that can turn your article marketing efforts into an opportunity that can boost your earnings. Not just increase the number of visitors to your site. Start out with a plan and see to it that your article will serve the function that you intended it to have.
3. Publishing content that does not help your readers.
Maybe in the process of writing articles, you are thinking that all that is you wanted is links back to your site. And any visitors it can generate are fine.
Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. Oftentimes, they have some guidelines and specifications on the articles that they are accepting.
You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with other people. All it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience overnight.
Write the articles that publishers want in their publications if you want your article marketing to work the most effective way for you. This also means you have to obey the standard guidelines, spell checks, researching on a good topic and even hiring a writer to produce a good content on your behalf.
In the end, it is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back but on a very basic level. Or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra time making quality contents.
It will be your choice. You may not be aware of the fact that an article submitted on directories is not meant to have the same level of exposure as highly-targeted content ones geared on a narrow group of people.
Learn the difference between these two and it will surely help you know what kinds of articles to write and to submit.

Many affiliates do not seem to get the best out of their business. Affiliate marketing is not that easy and moreover its success depends on the cautiousness and character of the owner. So, the affiliate has to be skillful and well-aware of his work. Here is a discussion with important advises, ideas and notifications.First rule of affiliating is to know the common mistakes. Let’s take a look at some usual mistakes affiliates make.
If we talk about mistakes, the first one might be rushing into the market. Many people take almost no time to prepare, considering it as total waste of time. As unnecessary it may look, this is what can make the business successful in long run. The first step of preparation is to develop a site under proper concept. The next step will be selecting most profitable and appropriate affiliate programs. Also, the site must be furnished with important and attractive topics.
A problem with most of the affiliates is their relation to merchants. Many depend too much on the merchants. A total opposite scene can be observed, as others show doubt in the affiliate programs and continue with their worries about payment. Solution for the first group is to eliminate programs with no tools, no training and no option of creativity. It is also important to keep the business pattern flexible enough for switching into alternative monetary models. As for the second group, it would be smart to join group with reputed companies and wait to get paid after sales are made.
Another crisis in affiliate marketing which can turn the business into total spoil is zero or poor traffic. To avoid such disaster, one can go with following steps:
* Use of original content, which can attract search engines,
* Monitoring the performance of each and every page separately to obtain information about page rank,
* Adoption of multiple ways to traffic,
* Use of a trusted log file analyzer to follow the necessary traffic stats,
* Analysis of ‘Click Through’ and ‘Click In’ pattern methodically, as the business depends on it.
As for other advises, an affiliate should keep his head where money is. Let the merchants and advertisers sweat about products. An affiliate has to choose a good and authentic product carefully. Rather than obtaining single order, it is smart to hang around with long-term deals with good payment. Finally, an affiliate should think the ways to promote product, instead of shipping or customer reaction, as it is simply not his agenda.

As affiliate marketing is becoming the hottest way to exploit internet marketing and niches, the urge of learning its tactics is getting stronger for online marketers. But the truth is; affiliate marketing is not that easy for the rookies. In most of the cases, when someone goes out to start his campaign, that person simply finds the rules and tricks of such operations to be too complex. As a result, the newcomers make mistakes which put permanent negative impression in their business. Here are those errors that all the beginners should be aware of.
Error#1: One of the main reasons of failing in affiliate marketing is lack of believe. Many beginners in this distinguished type of internet marketing show a lack of courage and confidence. This problem mainly comes from confusion. Many also lose their focus on the job, if the results don’t come as quick as told in many internet brochures and advertisements. So, one should stop looking at those and let his own intellects take over.
Error#2: The second and possibly most fatal error is to start things up without a proper plan. The goal of affiliate marketing is to capture market niches. A novice should set precise goals for a certain period. A well-thought and revised plan should be made to capture those goals.
Error#3: Time is money. If one takes too much time in surfing forums and communities, that person will end up making fewer sales after putting maximum effort.
Error#4: It is important to spot hungry niches. One should look around to find where his service is needed the most. Anyway, it is important for one to understand that jumping into something without required knowledge won’t do him a lot of favor. For new hands, it is better to start with a niche that can be covered well with their knowledge.
Error#5: False and irrelevant information from eBooks can distract a beginner from his goal. One should look to collect information from authentic sources and avoid zero-benefit tips which only sound pretty good. Let’s get real, if advises from so called affiliate ‘Guru’s were that great, everybody could make millions within a year.
Error#6: Many people go for mega courses to have a future in affiliate marketing. Without basic, those will bring nothing to anyone.
Error#7: It is not wise to put all the concentration on building content sites, because, those may never earn the required traffic.
Error#8: “Make Money Online” categorized products are recognized by everyone now. And because of multiple problems involved with most of those many people simply avoid such products. So, one should not be associated with those types of products at the very beginning.
It is hard to make a good start in affiliate marketing with so much confusion and temptation around the sector. So, one should check out the starting rules and make each move cautiously.

Affiliate Marketing is a derivative of Internet marketing where the advertisement publisher gets paid for every customer or sales provided by him. Affiliate marketing is the basic for all other Internet marketing strategies.
In this type of marketing, affiliate management companies, in-house affiliate managers and third party vendors are effectively utilized to use E-mail Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, RRS Capturing and Display Advertising for the success of the product. The web traffic can be traced with the help of a third party or own affiliate programs. A lot of work is involved in this process. At first marketing by this method involved lots of spamming, false advertising, trademark infringement, etc. But, after the invention of complex algorithms and advance security this has been regularized to make it safer for doing business and shopping online. This even led to the better scrutinizing of the terms and conditions by the merchants. Affiliate marketing became more profiting with the opening of more opportunities but at the same time it also increased the competition in marketing.
Due to this pressure in house affiliate programs for merchants became a thing of the past and were replaced by out-sourced programs. The companies that offered this service have expert affiliate and network program managers who have various affiliate program management techniques. These affiliate networks have publishers associated with them who help them with the advertising part.
Affiliate marketing was started by cdnow.com who had music oriented websites. They placed list of music albums on their site and they paid others if they put those links in their websites when a visitor bought their album through their site. The first company to link with cdnow.com was Geffen Records. Two months later, Amazon was offered by a woman that she would sell Amazon’s books on her website and she should be paid a certain percentage in return if she sold Amazon’s books through her site. They liked the idea and started the Amazon associates program. It was more of a commission program where they received a commission if a visitor clicked their links and banners on other’s site and bought anything through it.
Since its invention, the affiliate network has been adopted by various businesses like travel, education, telecom, mobile, gaming, personal finance, retail, and subscription sites, the most common being adult and gambling sectors. In UK alone, affiliate marketing produced £ 2.16 billion.
The compensation methods used are Cost per sale (CPS), Cost per action (CPA), Cost per mile (CPM) and Cost per click (CPC). The first two are the more famous methods today. This is because in CPM and CPC, the visitor which turns up on a particular website might not be the targeted audience and a click would be enough to generate commission. CPS and CPA have a compulsion that the visitor not only clicks on the link but also buys something or signs up for some service after it which proves that he is among the targeted audience. Only in the above case the affiliate gets paid. So the affiliate should try to send as much targeted traffic as possible to the advertiser in order to increase his/her returns and for this reason affiliate marketing is also known as performance marketing because it totally depends on the performance of the affiliate. The affiliate team can be differentiated from a sales team from the nature of their jobs. The job of the affiliate team is to drag targeted traffic to a point and from that
point it’s the job of the sales team to influence the visitor to buy the product or the service.
This is a very effective kind of method because the money is being paid only when results have been achieved. The publisher incurs all the cost except that of initial setup and development of the program, which is incurred by the merchant. Many businesses give credit to this method of marketing for their success.
